Wagholikar Kidney hospital is located in the heart of the city, very close to Sangamner bus stand. It was established in 1986-87 by late physician, respected Dr. Dineshji Wagholikar (MBBS, MD Medicine). The hospital has recently been renovated & is a combinedWe “Uro-Nephro” set up. It has a spacious 4000 sqft area with ready connectivity. It is a 15 bedded set up with modular Operation Theatre, ICU set up, Lithotripsy & Laser unit, Digital X-ray facility and 24 hours in-house pharmacy.

Dr Hrishikesh Wagholikar (Urologist) is a full-time available consultant while Nephrologists are on visiting basis. Dr Rasika Hrishikesh Wagholikar (MBBS, MD anesthesia & critical care) looks after the ICU, OT and other hospital administration.

He did MS general surgery from Govt medical college, Miraj in 2015.

After completing post graduation, he secured All India Rank 4 in DNB SS CET (Superspeciality entrance) and did super specialization In DNB Genitourinary surgery (Urology) from IKDRC Ahmedabad.

He Performed many complicated urological surgeries and Kidney transplants during his DNB tenure.

Now he is the first full time consultant Urologist and director at Wagholikar Kidney Hospital in Sangamner since 2019.

He has Presented papers in national conferences and has many articles in peer reviewed journals to his name.
